The Ukrainian passport is currently ranked 29th place on the Guide Passport Index. It provides visa-free access to 149 countries. This gives it an overall medium mobility score. Ukrainian passport holders have visa-free access and visas on arrival to destinations such as Brazil, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the entire European Union. Ukrainian passport holders do however require a visa to enter about 80 destinations in the world. Some of the destinations where a visa is required are China, the United States and the United Kingdom.

There are currently a total of 110 Ukraine passport visa-free countries, 37 Ukraine visa-on-arrival countries, and 2 eTA destinations.

The country has a market-based economy, generating a GDP of approximately $429.9 billion. Its citizens have a per capita income of $10,310. The GDP is mostly made up of 2 key sectors which are the service and industry sector. Ukraine is a major producer of oil, gas and metals. Other important export products are coal, metals, machinery, grains and sugar beets.
